Olivia studied Law with Criminology at the University of Surrey where she graduated with First Class Honours. She was awarded the Head of Law School Prize for obtaining the highest overall mark of her year. Olivia subsequently studied the Barrister Training Course with Legal Masters at BPP University where she graduated with a Distinction. Olivia was awarded the Excellence Scholarship from BPP University.
Throughout her studies Olivia volunteered for various legal charities. These included the National Centre for Domestic Violence where she assisted victims of domestic abuse to obtain injunctions. During the BTC, Olivia volunteered with the BPP Family Law Clinic where she conducted client conferences and wrote letters of advice on a variety of family law matters, including private children, finance, and divorce.
Prior to pupillage, Olivia worked as a paralegal at Goodman Ray Solicitors, specialising in public children law (care proceedings) and the international movement of children (Hague Convention, Wardship and Inherent Jurisdiction). This role included presenting research to senior partners, drafting statements, and attending court to support vulnerable clients. Olivia assisted on the following reported cases:

Olivia joined Guildford Chambers as a family law pupil in October 2024.
Olivia has a keen interest in the performing arts and particularly enjoys the theatre and contemporary dance.
