Daniyaal completed his Law and Politics LLB degree at Queen Mary, University of London before attending BPP London Holborn to undertake the LLM Legal Practice (Bar). During his degree, Daniyaal took part in numerous pro bono activities including community projects aimed at educating primary and secondary school students on several key areas of law.
Following his degree, Daniyaal worked as a Paralegal, and later, Lead and Senior Paralegal at LexisNexis. With a focus on PI & Clinical Negligence, Daniyaal was responsible for content creation and maintenance of documents used by subscribing practitioners in the field. During his time at LexisNexis, Daniyaal was promoted to a Lead Paralegal maternity cover position, managing a team of paralegals working across Dispute Resolution and Public Sector practice areas.
Throughout his former role, Daniyaal was instrumental in the creation and enhancement of the wider Lexis+ Practical Guidance offering, including graphic visualisation of legal concepts to enhance customer experience and AI and automation projects to streamline the LexisNexis Quantum Database.
Outside of his role at LexisNexis, Daniyaal regularly undertook legal drafting and research work for a Barrister specialising in civil areas of law. Daniyaal has also been trained as an Advocate for the Free Representation Unit to provide pro bono representation in social security tribunals.
Daniyaal joined Guildford Chambers as a civil pupil in October 2024.
Daniyaal owns and runs his own baking business in which he uses his passion for baking and cake decorating to create and sell bespoke baked goods. Daniyaal also enjoys travelling, cinema and spending time with his friends and family.
