Lola-Rose joined Guildford Chambers as a family pupil in October 2019. Lola graduated in law in 2012 and completed the BPTC in 2013. During the BPTC, Lola volunteered as a Personal Support Advisor at the Personal Support Unit, assisting litigants-in-person at the Central Family Court and Family Division of the High Court with their applications and attendances at hearings. Lola also undertook shadowing with Cafcass and has a particular interest in cases involving children.
Prior to pupillage, Lola worked for approximately 4 years as a forensic accountant at a ‘big 4’ accounting firm, where she was also trained and qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2019. Lola has experience in analysing a variety of financial information; she has also gained advocacy experience working as a County Court Advocate in various courts across the country and additional litigation experience working as a paralegal at an international law firm.
Having successfully completed her First Six under the supervision of Dominique Gillan, Lola is now in her Second Six and available to accept instructions across the full spectrum of Family Law.
