Ben completed his Law LLB degree at Oxford Brookes University before attending BPP London to undertake the Bar Vocational Course (BVC). During his degree, Ben was Vice-President for his University’s Law Society and was a member of the American Football Team.
Following his degree, Ben worked as a Childcare Paralegal before moving to Manchester to be a Trainee Legal Adviser in the Family Magistrates Court. Here, Ben was exposed to a wide range of family issues including both private and public children cases as well as Non-Molestation Orders. Ben had the opportunity to conduct FHDRA’s on his own and has developed his advocacy skills through this.
Ben joined Guildford Chambers as a family pupil in October 2023.
Ben is an avid Portsmouth fan and a keen runner. Ben enjoys all sports whether that is playing or watching, he has a particular interest in American Football. Ben also enjoys travelling, the theatre and anything that involves food.
